Brycen Gray Updates

The Brycen Gray Memorial Foundation has been busy over the past year, and we are so excited to share the great work we continue to do in Brycen’s name!

Through our generous supporters like you, and with the funds raised from last year’s golf outing, we were able to:

  • Contribute to the building of a new Student Success Center at St. Edward’s High School, Brycen’s Alma Mater. The Student Success Center is a place dedicated to supporting students in various ways including being a place to meet with counselors, study with a tutor, find a quiet space, or…. [drumroll please] …. gather with peers in the new Brycen Gray Memorial Foundation atrium!
  • Award two scholarships to high school seniors who are pursuing higher education.
  • Donate to American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, a voluntary health organization who funds scientific research, educates the public about mental health and suicide prevention, advocates for public policies in mental health and suicide prevention, and supports survivors of suicide loss.
  • Donate to Cornerstone of Hope, a nonprofit which provides support to grieving children, teens, adults, and families through counseling, support groups, memorials, camps, educational programs, and community outreach.
  • Participate in Mental Health Awareness events. Most notably, we spent time with students during Mental Health Awareness month and handed out Foundation keychains which contained a QR code with links to suicide hotlines and school counseling resources.

And we continue to explore more ways we can make an impact. We have some exciting ideas for 2024!
